AArte is an online art gallery and art marketplace for original artworks. As part of our broad selection, we welcome many different types of artworks; as long as they can be categorised in one of the following groups:
- Original paintings
- Original drawings
- Original collages
- Limited edition art prints
- Limited edition digital art
- Limited edition fine art original photography
- Hand-made original printmaking (including linocuts, screenprints, etchings, collagraphs, lithographs, woodcuts and monoprints)
AArte is all about… art! And although what art is can be subjective, there are some items that are strictly not allowed here on AArte. This extends to listings that include such items as a gift, prize or giveaway. Some of them may not necessarily be illegal, however, because they don’t fit our selling criteria, they are not allowed.
AArte reserves the right to determine what items are or are not allowed to be listed on our platform at any time. We may remove items that are not listed below if we decide that they are offensive, in breach of our Terms of service, or that are not in the spirit of AArte.
The following types of items are prohibited or restricted on AArte.

- ADULT ONLY MATERIAL AND NUDITY
- Material with reference to pedopornography, including all forms of erotic art that include minors
- Material offensive to public morals such as pornographic material, any material representing or describing pedopornography, bestiality, necrophilia, coprophilia, rape or incest

- CURRENCY, COINS, CASH, CREDIT CARDS AND STAMPS
- COUNTERFEIT ITEMS, REPLICAS AND UNAUTHORIZED COPIES
- DATA BANKS, MAILING LISTS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
- DIGITAL AND NON-MATERIAL ITEMS
- Including digital books, music files and files that contains digital artwork
- DROP-SHIPPING
- DRUGS AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
- FOOD AND EDIBLE ITEMS
- FIREARMS, WEAPONS AND MILITARY ITEMS
- FIREWORKS AND KITS FOR THEIR IMPLEMENTATION
- GAMBLING AND LOTTERY ITEMS
- GOODS FROM EMBARGOED COUNTRIES
- GOVERNMENT, TRANSIT AND SHIPPING-RELATED ITEMS, GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS, IDs AND LICENSES
- HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS ITEMS
- Including but is not limited to: fire extinguishers, radioactive materials, flammable gases, combustible items, pesticides and poisons, toxic substances
- Including any dangerous item subject to specific sale restrictions
- HOMEWARE, FURNITURE AND FUNCTIONAL OBJECTS
- HUMAN REMAINS, HUMAN ORGANS AND BODY PARTS
- JEWELLERY
- LOCK PICKING AND LOCKSMITHING DEVICES
- MASS-PRODUCED ARTWORKS
- MEDICINES, MEDICAL DEVICES, HEALTHCARE AND HOLISTIC PRODUCTS
- OFFENSIVE MATERIAL
- All items promoting, supporting or celebrating hatred, violence, racial, sexual and/or religious intolerance or organisations with such views
- PERFUMES AND COSMETICS
- PLANTS AND SEEDS
- REAL ESTATE
- RECALLED ITEMS
- SECONDARY RESALES
- However, organisations, such as galleries, with the rights to sell artwork may do so.
- SERVICES
- Professional or personal services
- SOFTWARE
- STATE OR PUBLIC AGENCIES OWNERSHIPS, ARTISTIC, HISTORICAL AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
- Including artworks that are protected under national laws or regulations
- STOCKS AND OTHER SECURITIES
- STOLEN PROPERTY AND PROPERTY WITH REMOVED SERIAL NUMBERS
- Any item taken without the authorisation from private individuals, companies or governments
- TECHNOLOGY AND ELECTRONICS
- TICKETS
- Including airline tickets and tickets for events
- TOBACCO, NICOTINE PRODUCTS, HERBS AND INCENSES
- Including tobacco related products, e-cigarettes, e-liquids and related accessories
- VOUCHERS AND GIFT CARDS
